Something fresh and new always makes happy. And by now I'm talking about...yes, the black Chelsea boots and freshly chopped hair! I fell in love with the chunky Chelsea boots at the first sight. Been deliberating to adopt them for quiet sometime, and luckily they are on sale so I got it in the best price! Paired it with orchid ultra-stretch jeans I got from Uniqlo's event few months ago, plain grey t-shirt, and rectangle monochrome scarf. So... an outfit for a wishful trip to a rodeo game? I'm so ready!

Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 - Day 6: "La Vie en Noir"

"LA VIE EN NOIR" presented by Senayan City - a Black & White fashion party in the form of musical runway in collaboration of 7 brands (compatible to Senayan City anniversary year), they are 6 fashion tenants from the mall (Mango, Furla, Banana Republic, BCBG Maxazria, Raoul, Zara) and 1 of the promising brand in Indonesia at the moment, B by Barli Asmara. "La Vie en Noir" was also the part of "Prahara Cinta" Badai Kasih Operetta teaser, which is being worked on by Perempuan Untuk Negeri (Woman for Nation) and Rama Soeprapto. I had goosebumps throughout the show -- it had emotion vibrant and well-concepted for a runway typical -- besides, good music never failed a heart, aite? Barli Asmara's collections remind me of Parisian chic (with the wide hat) and a bit touch of 40s (through the straight & sleek lining), and there are also lots of surprises on the runway segment. "LA VIE EN NOIR" persembahan dari Senayan City - adalah sebuah fashion party Black & White yang dikemas dalam musical runway dalam kolaborasi 7 brand (sesuai dengan usia Senayan City), yang terdiri dari 6 fashion tenant (Mango, Furla, Banana Republic, BCBG Maxazria, Raoul, Zara) dan 1 brand yang promising di Indonesia saat ini, B by Barli Asmara. "La Vie en Noir" juga merupaka bagian dari teaser Operet Badai Kasih "Prahara Cinta" yang sedang digarap oleh Perempuan Untuk Negeri (PUN) dan Rama Soeprapto. Saya merinding selama show berlangsung -- show ini memiliki getar emosi dan sangat terkonsep untuk tipikal runway show -- di samping itu, musik yang asik selalu memenangkan hati, kan? Koleksi dari Barli Asmara mengingatkan saya akan Parisian chic (dengan topi yang lebar) dan sedikit sentuhan dari era 40-an (lewat lining yang straight & sleek), dan juga banyak surprise dalam segmen ini.
