Shop Keep You Top: Singapore, December 2013

1/16/2014 05:10:00 PM

*) Yes, I do believe that you shouldn't do shopping till you drop, but do shopping to support and keep your mind on top of confidence of your own look. This is one of new segments on The Mad Shopper's Dressing Room I hope you might love.

I have heard a lot from people before, that Singapore has nice price deal that would make anyone want to comeback to do shopping there all over again -- at least that's what most of my social cycle talked about. For me, that just so true. Sure I want to back there again, and do real mad-shopping  (currently saving up for my dream bag, so smart-shopping lately needed). I didn't shop 'big' on Singapore, but I shopped little things quite much. Let's peek what I got from my Singapore trip last December.

 1. Beanie hat - Forever21, Ion Orchard
2.  Red sandals - Lucky Plaza, Orchard
3. Purse - Chinatown
4. Canvas tote bag - Lucky Plaza, Orchard

I'm not a regular of Forever21, and I just know that they come with a nice price -- those beanie hat I got for only SGD 5. And if you're happen to Lucky Plaza on Orchard Road, you should visit the ground floor near McDonald's. Those awesomely comfortable sandals I got for SGD 16 on a shop named D&J Shoes (they even self-produce their products), and there's a lot SGD 10 for 3 items there (like the tote bag my aunt got for me). And those cute polkadot purse I got for SGD 10/3 items I got from the shop-on-tent near Buddha Tooth Relic Temple on Chinatown -- you can't believe that was priced that way when you touch it!

Bobby pins, floral ring, ankle bracelet - Bugis Junction, red bow hair pins - Chinatown, snakeskin bracelet - Charles&Keith at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

There's an awesome accessories booth on the main entrance of Bugis Junction that most of their items priced under SGD 5! I got the 6 pieces bobby pins for SGD 1, the ring for SGD 3, and the ankle bracelet for about SGD 1 (with no bargaining!). That hair pin with red bow was SGD 2 -- I personally think it's a little bit pricey, but since I haven't saw any hair pins with bow that doesn't look childish in Jakarta so I take it. And the pink bracelet from Charles & Keith was on sale, so I got it for only around SGD 11, how lucky!

Pure Smile Bubble Mask, Absolute Cleansing Tissues - c/o BHG, Bugis Junction, Floral makeup brushes - Forever21

Oh, I love Forever21! I always got in my mind that makeup brushes are quite expensive, but those travel kit above was under my estimation -- SGD 8 and I'm satisfied with the super soft bristles. I didn't really like the smell of the makeup cleansing tissues, but it works effective anyway. And I haven't try the mask, so I can tell nothing about it.

ELLE Singapore magazine January issue; Puppy key charm, Schedule notes - c/o BHG, Bugis Junction

Those Puppy charm just reminded me with Hermes Rodeo bag charm, I guess that's the reason I bought it. Was stalking around instagram yesterday, and I'm surprised that an online shop (that specialized in selling handmade & imported stuff) sells this exact same charm for IDR 300k (around SGD 30) whilst I got it for only SGD 7 - I'm feelin lucky, LOL.

For all the stuffs, I spend only to SGD 100 (and that make me feel like bargain expert, at least among my family). This is my first trip in Singapore (after I have my own earnings), and I'm looking forward to comeback on summer holiday (finger-crossed!) to explore more shopping experience - maybe to pick up my dream bag...?
