Chic on the Bridge

So much to say how I love the Chic on the Bridge campaign by Louis Vuitton, from the first time I saw the ad on the magazine. I know it's a little bit too late to talk about, but these -  photographed by Steven Klein - keep stuck in my head. The campaign featured the iconic Alma bag traveled around the world - in four parts - with Karlie Kloss, Daria Strokous, Jac Jagaciak, and Iris Strubegger

Chic on the Bridge was shot in the famous bridge around the world. The girls met up on Pont du Carrousel in Paris, holding the Epi Alma in Cyan (as shown above).

Next stop, New York. Holding the bright and eye-catchy Epi Alma in Citron, the girls posed in the Brooklyn Bridge - as a tribute to the yellow cab of United States.

And then, on Shanghai's Waibaidu Bridge - also featuring Fan Bingbing - the girls elegantly hold Vernis Alma in Pomme d' Amour , symbolized Chinese cultural color and lacquer.

After Shanghai, they meet up back again in Paris, on the same Pont du Carrousel bridge in the night, holding the Almas in the bright rainbow hues that pop up against their little black dress and Paris night skyline (shown below).

For me, this campaign reminisced how Alma could be such a nice travel companion - a roomy bag that also keeps you chic at the same time. Remember how Gabrielle Chanel also love her custom-made Alma, didn't she?
