Fall 2013 Guide

Let's flashback a little bit to few fashion week ago -- for now the fall season has come, so it's time to reboot & refreshing the fall collection on our closet!

I've been skimming through and make a little note of Fall 2013 Guide. As what have seen a little on the pictures above, some of this season trends encompassed outerwear and sweatshirt, the classic prints and pattern, cold-weather clothing piece, lace and leather material, and also around color area.

* As for the outerwear, this season is full of the catchy, oversize, and play boxy and curvy line with coats and sweatshirt. Don't forget to complete your warm sets with beanie hat and also turtle neck.

* Your last season investment of leopard print also still worthy this fall, and other bloomed classic pattern including houndstooth (they're still, baby!) and tartan (that reminds me of 90's grunge).

* As for color, Emerald Green is the queen of the 2013 fall (as what I see from runway and according to Pantone). Winter White (which is my favorite pick of the season shopping) and grey are also worthy investment, and why don't try the pinky shade out of the cold?

But remember, not every trend could suit you best and long-lasted. Be a smart shopper, and have fun around!

Mari kita kilas balik ke beberapa fashion week yang lalu -- karena musim gugur telah datang, maka ini saatnya me-reboot & refreshing koleksi musim gugur dari lemari!

Dari apa yang telah kulihat dan kubaca, aku membuat sedikit catatan kecil sebagai Petunjuk Musim Gugur 2013. Berdasarkan sedikit yang ditunjukkan dari gambar di atas, beberapa tren dari musim ini meliputi pakaian luaran (outerwear) dan sweater, motif & print klasik, item pakaian musim dingin, material lace dan leather, sampai area warna.

* Untuk outerwear, musim ini penuh dengan yang catchy (menarik), kebesaran, dan potongan curvy serta bermain boxy look (identik dengan besar di bagian atas atau pundak) dengan coats dan sweater. Jangan lupa untuk melengkapi setelan hangat dengan topi beanie dan juga kerah turtleneck.

* Investasi leopard print dari musim lalu juga masih berguna untuk musim gugur ini, dan pattern-pattern klasik yang berkembang antara lain adalah houndstooth (lanjutan dari perempat musim lalu) dan tartan (yang mengingatkan akan grunge di tahun 90an).

* Untuk warna, Hijau Emerald adalah ratu dari musim gugur 2013 (dari apa yang terlihat di runway dan berdasarkan Pantone). Winter White (warna putih khas musim dingin, yang menjadi pilihan favorit aku dalam berbelanja musim ini) dan abu-abu juga bisa menjadi investasi berguna, dan mengapa tidak untuk mencoba corak dari warna pink di hari yang dingin?

Tapi tetap ingat ya, tidak semua tren bisa cocok atau sesuai dengan kita dan bertahan lama. Be a smart shopper, and have fun!
